This was my first car, i bought it off of Larry Buckingham when he was working at Graham's chevrolet. the lot was called "Clunker Jungle".
I paid $300 for it, won a week after i owned the car at Dragway 42 . I raced and won class at the 1979 AHRA Grand Nationals at Dragway 42, O/SA was the class it was in. Set the record also, but didnt want to do tear down (daily driver and heads bolt was more then rusted) so Vance Brady let me wave off taking the record. |
