It was a defective fuse holder. I went to the next position on the holder and problem solved. Got to smell smoke and test drive the car. Now we need a role cage inspection. A busy day for sure it started at 3 AM

We are at BG for testing today. Yesterday really tested our determination. A new to us golf cart that had to be tied down different. The straps were in two different trailers. Hydraulic leak on the hoist in the trailer. Had to get it fixed so we can load.
Hats off to Victory Lane Golf Carts. We got a nice Used cart and had it modified, chopped the top, so it could fit in trailer without it having to go in first. They modified it to my specks and yesterday it drove rite in.
We hope things go well today.

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant

Today has been a disappointment. HANS device was not what I thought it would be. Car lost power on the first and only hit and track was well prepared. Not a good run for us. Had to get towed back to the pits. We forgot to change our tow strap to the new golf cart. We used a small 8 foot strap to hook to the car for towing. Patsy on the back to relay any information to the driver. Long story short driver slowed down and I did not react and hit the golf cart knocking Patsy off the cart then got bumped by car to land face first with a broken left arm bad scrapes on her shins and knees. Almost forgot right arm all skin up.
The bright spot of all this disaster was all the help she received almost immediately. First on the brigade of first aid was Nicole Stephenson followed by two to three EMS experienced people from other teams pitch and supply comfort and aid to Patsy. The track had it ambulance on the spot supplying wound care materials. The First Aid Brigade had Patsy calm and bandaged when the local ambulance arrived. I thanked them all but never got their name. We are still waiting for one of her X-rays to be examined.
Thank you ever so much to those that helped.

We will keep our hopes high for a St Louis appearance and more importantly, get well soon Patsy! Thankful caring hands were there to address the situation.
