Got to bring this back.
Still took a good skilled racer could build a Pro Stocker. But a lot of people got into building them. D |

To me, the Pro Stock class ended when they stopped resembling production vehicles; when they started using body styles that were never V-8 powered and especially those that were front wheel drive vehicles originally. My favorite (and as far as I'm concerned the best) Pro Stock era is the Bill Jenkins/Sox&Martin/Dick Landy/Don Nicholson/Wally Booth/Don Carlton/early Bob Glidden/Gapp & Roush and etc., era. https://image.ibb.co/fRxwzw/dyno_don..._on_cammer.jpg P.S. Glad to see you post. I was wondering the other day what happened to you because I haven't seen any posts from you in this section of the forum. Pete |

Speaking of re-bodied race cars, here's the ex-Bob Glidden 1970 Mustang Pro Stocker converted to a 1973(?) model of Larry Sengstack. https://image.ibb.co/mYrC7G/american_flyer.jpg |
