race pack (imo), if you use it all the time its great, but its a pain if you only use it once and a while ,, I have a RPM data logger and it is real easy to use and set up ,

your install is nice and neat,, mine started of that way but added a bunch of stuff ,, it got out of hand

and, how to react to the data it provides, the new learning curve.

They are simply recording data from a run--"you" have to make any adjustments that you feel are necessary--- over time after reviewing the records you have been keeping of each run you will make the "correct" changes to your tune up to correlate a previous run mimic your next run-- you are going to have to enter additional info or keep the info in your log book such as track temp/humidity/grains/density altitude/ etc. to see what your car run in similar conditions---it is not an ET or MPH predictor--- FED 387

Racepak is great if you remember to turn it on so it records the run. At Indy driver forgot to turn it on in 2 runs cost him a class win. At Norwalk remembered to turn it on .2 quicker. He just won class at the Sports Nats.
Moral of the story if you got it use it.

There is a mode to start the racepak when it hits a set rpm.

Start with pg. 22 of the manual for rpm trigger setup. Section 5. That's a nice piece. Maybe start with pg. 1

I'm trying to piece together Innovate Motorsports products for data as a Racepak is out of my budget. You have such nice stuff.

our grid will starts to log once it sees the launch rpm limiter activated and above 2500rpm which is nice and it ends up recording every pass we don't have the arc module to record output shaft or driveshaft rpm because of the legality around running it i wish they would make a driveshaft module without the built in traction control stuff for the grid.

I'm sure this would happen. We put the button on the floor just to have it but fully intend to start recording off RPM.
