The "Scotty rule" is as follows: You can not run S/ST and anything else at any points race or national event in NHRA.
IHRA allows you to run H/R and whatever else you want. And the weight limit is 200lb less in IHRA than NHRA. Jeremy5123 |
jeremy what is a "scotty rule" ? my son just asked me....
|
The "Scotty" rule is for Scotty Richardson, who won 3 or 4 classes at one race. Since then you can only enter 2 sportsman classes (except Super Street). This eliminates one amazing driver from winning all the sportsman classes.

you should have no problem as long as your chassis is set up right , my car weighs 2850 and it reacts fine with a slow ford 522 dont be discouraged by car weight and size , its kind of fun beating up on those corvettes especially with a real door car. Ryan Bolin S/G 32
