Until NHRA gives the older boxy cars some kind of break for the extra aero drag,I doubt if you'll see too many older cars in GT ,

I think this would be a very good combo in SS.

Of all the carbed engines I have seen, so far the 1968 Mercury Cougar 302 looks the best in SS @ 230 fact. hp..

I e-mailed Quickfuel a few months ago and was told they are trying to get approval on the small Ford Holley type 4 bbl. for Stock and SS. Hope it happens soon. :)

Using the '68 302 in my '89 chassis, it's natural class would be SS/GT/L.

Most likely I would add 115 lbs and run the M class.
