I went with trays on both my cars. They are held on with a on couple dzus's and dont hold the heat in the engine or get in the way of any of the steering. Plus were cheaper than any diaper and dont get caught or torn in the flexplates. Food for thought.

Grant it, a pan/tray may be easier to work with, however I have a tuff time beliving that the tray can contain the fluids without being sucked out of the tray by wind drafts. In the case of a diaper, it's required that it made high enought to meet the block/head mating surfaces. And a tray I belive are only a few inches high........will they even reach the bottom of the pan. ?

Another note, several years ago, WJ was testing pan/trays. His position was " it dosen't work"

with a stock front end i think a pan would be even more difficult than a diaper. if you went frame rail to rail the suspension is in the way plus you would have to mount it low to get the 2 in minimum lip . as much as i like my car im thinking about building a s st chassis car for lots of reasons this being one of them
