Re: Roller Rockers in Stock
I heard this earlier in the year but didn't really pay much attention to it because I thought it was just another rumour. Who asked for this? I don't know a lot of people that were in favor of this. Chris did tell me that some of the big block stockers were turning their motors north of 8500. Maybe they are the ones that wanted them.

Re: Roller Rockers in Stock
Hate to break the news but roller cams have been in stock elim class for quite a while. Just another advantage of most late model motors. Makes those square cams much easier to live with. ;)

Re: Roller Rockers in Stock
What combos are prone to rocker arm failure? I know Larry Hodge told me the Olds Omega(?) he ran would break them in the water if you arent careful? I guess now, BBC racers will have $850 worth of "stock" rockers as shelf filler.

Re: Roller Rockers in Stock
I said it once in a post and I will say it again. The cam rule allowing just the stock lift changed the face of the stocker class forever. It opened Pandoras box to the point that the class has still not recovered from. ----just my 2.5 cents

I'm waiting on the "move the rear springs in and run 10.5 tires" rule.

And why not solid lifters for everybody? Makes sense in the same way.
