Re: Snap On Socket
You cant read the numbers on mine I have had it so long. But that one you listed is for removing driveshafts in some big trucks and mine looks alot like that one so it could be it cause I have had a few of them out too and might be why mine is worn so bad. Snap on should be here at my shop this afternoon I will get him to fix me up with the number. He is usually here about 4 so I will try and get back to you this evening.

Re: Snap On Socket
The correct number is S6260 and the price for it from my guy is 47.45 plus tax. I can send you a picture of a brand new one if you give me a email address as he replaced mine when he saw it due to wear. I am not very good a posting pictures but if you know how you can put it on here in case anybody else would like to see it.

Re: Snap On Socket
Rob, is it a 12 point or 6 point...the nuts on the head studs are 12's....

Re: Snap On Socket
Its 12 Point. The dia. of my springs on one engine are big enough that I have to machine the washers down to clear the springs and there is very little clearance between the nuts and springs. I works on that one. I took a few pictures of it by itself and with a ARP nut and a few others. If you want them PM me a email. But I am sure its the tool you want.
