They will give leeway on carb, has to be newest non-electronic.

Built many over the years, but never an electronic version. Working on a '67 model atm...

I was just stating the lack of wording in the rulebook on carbs vs the NHRA clarifications.

just got word from ihra they rate that engine at 249 and he told me it would run in E,F,or G so now i must start on what we will need to do to get that thing ready will post a picture once we get it out of garage

You will be in good company.
The car is fast for any of the Classes.
Definitely a consistent 12 second car in E.
