More injector won't gain you a thing. If not tuned for them, they will slow you down, unless there were issues with your factory injectors.

The LS1 uses 58 to 60 psi, which of course makes them flow more in use.
Not likely the IHRA Tech guys would think about checking the numbers on your injectors, nor have the numbers on file, or may not even care.

There is no power there, running LS1 injectors at the fuel pressure you are using.

If the IHRA rule book does not state that you can use different injectors in Pure Stock, even if the tech guys don't notice, and you are using them, you are simply illegal. Sneaking something past Tech simply does not make it legal. If the tech guys knew enough about it, and cared, the LS1 injectors do look different. I would know if I saw it. No power there, just illegal.

Ed...I told the Tech Officials I was using LS1 Injectors.
They said ok!...they work fine.
Bought them because could not find LT1’s.
LS1’s were available and popped right in.

I am new to F.I. How do I determine which ones I have? How do I know when/if they need to be replaced?

You bought an already built EFI car? Can't contact the previous owner?
They very seldom need replaced.

We did.. he said he really never got the time to tune on it. I am more than willing to pay someone who wants to educate us on F.I. and big stuff 3

My Rochester injectors had part numbers on them . The Ford Motorsport injectors are color coded . You could also remove them and send them to get them flowed . Also make sure you know what pressure your injectors are running at in your car .

I’d have to go look at my notes to be 100% sure on my pressures. But I think I ran 24lbs at 65 psi. And I have run 30lb at 50 psi. The 24 lb injectors were a lot faster. I’m guessing it’s because they are atomizing the fuel so much better.

Same reason I run mine @60 psi.
