Many Stock SS racers are running 20w 50 racing oil now anyway to kill a few tenths. I bet they make some fine thick stuff. LOL

have at it. Me, I don't pay for my trans fluid nor oil and my kid doesn't have a 2012 Kia.:p

I, and several other Comp racers I know run their Type F trans fluid with great results. Looks the same coming back out as it did when new, plus all the clutches, bands, gears, etc. look pristine. Like you, I run Maxima every where else on the car but give Amalie props for how well their trans fluid works. I have ran other brands with a much higher cost that did not perform as well.

There is no better trans fluid than Allison's Transynd, try it and you'll be glad you did.

I ran transynd for years, and I agree its a superior fluid. Joel is pretty adamant about running Type F, and Eddie Horensky is also, so I switched over. I have my trans gone thru every year and it still has the same clutches from 300 runs ago when we put the pro trans gears in it. So so far so good.

Dwayne my trans in both my cars get freshened every other season, with north of 400 passes and they always look brand new. Keep in mind with the dragster, that's across the line burnouts, 5200rpm launches and sub 1 second 60 foots. Further, with Transynd, the fluid temp runs cooler by at least 10 degrees.

That’s 200 passes. You only run 1/8 mile. 😂

Exactly!

He doesn’t race class.
Pro trans does not like Synthetic fluid. Transmission tolerance and clutch material dictate fluid spec.
These aren’t bracket cars! I cannot see your reply just what others are saying.. so don’t bother .
