If you are talking about hitting 7500 in the burnout with a Stocker I would say you are over revving. I would question why you want to go that high in the burnout,. I have a 6000 limit in the burnout for my Stocker. It is on a toggle switch so that even when I release the LineLoc the rev limiter is still active. Finish burnout and flip toggle switch to race mode. Ray

No sir, my stocker never sees 5500 during the burnout. I've got a 5200 LL chip and just barely roll out of the water box with it. My super street car does routinely see 7k coming out of the burnout box, but if I don't get it up that high it checks up immediately. I've got lots of tire and little torque.

We have had the 3 step on our N/SA wagon for nearly 20
years now. We have Zero Valve train issues. However, it is a
318 Mopar.

I’ve never used a stepper in the box, that’s what the tack is for plus it’s bang bang into third see a little smoke and walk it out. Besides the box is for cleaning the tire not to get hot, you think that tire is holding the heat all the way to launch? Goodyear explained this 35 years ago. My 3 step is for ‘other’ things.
