Nice shot. The closest I ever got to the Malco Super Vett is the model car kit (of the same car) that a teen friend of mine assembled back in the early-1970s. :)

How many of you longtime drag racers and fans remember Raceway Park regular, Ben Brinkofsky and his Brinkie's Drag Team flathead-powered '52 Ford?

I just noticed this...look at the cop by the brown Chevy Impala (or Caprice). I KNOW you longtime RP racers and fans know this guy. LOL Even though Bernie The Cop was a hard-nosed SOB on the surface, once you got to know him he wasn't such a prick. :) He's probably breaking that kid's balls and asking, "What are all those beers doing in that cooler??" LOL

Was this originally a '65 Falcon station wagon made into a panel, or did Ford sell Falcon panel wagons.

Thanks. I don't know anything about it. The thought just occurred to me...Larry's Corvette sure looks like the yellow A/MP Corvette that Bob Thompson ran (and won Modified Eliminator at the 1973 Indy Nationals). From the look of wheels, wheelie bars, etc. it sure looks like it.

Hi Thanks for asking about my 65 Falcon Sedan Delivery. Yes this is a real Factory Ford Sedan Delivery. They did make them 61to 65. I think in 65 they made maybe 649. Total # for the four years was 6000. I would like to find this car and buy it back. I bought it in PA. in 77. SRD / SW race car did some of the work on it. The people I bought it from had it built to run in F/ Gas. I sold it to people in the Illionios / Ind. area. Loved it but I sold when I bout a Don Hardy Pro Stock Pinto back in 79.
Thanks

Does it count? Yes and no. :) They were allowed in 'Modified' eliminator when, in the latter half of the 1970s 'til (the category was cancelled in 1981), in a combined Modified/Competition eliminator due to a low turn out of NHRA class legal cars locally. Ditto Stock/Super Stock combo eliminator.
