The Square 10 will be the most bare bones, stripped down piece I have ever built. The interior will have a steering wheel, shifter, and seat. No dash, no carpet, no mat, maybe a couple of the 3M anti-slip pieces. I expect it to weigh around 2850 with driver.

Re: Square 10
Truck looks awesome, I do have some concerns/points I would like to add.
1) 5-7 swap works great but I think the wire you are using is too short, don't be fooled into thinking shorter wire between the two plugs will enhance the spark. (unless you already gapped it over the .125 minimum) 2) I tried the cable tie trick and while it will work, change to white ones as they hold the heat better. (I've never tried adjusting from outside, I'll assume this is with the engine off??) LOL, Love the build, cool truck! |
Re: Square 10
Thank you. I need more tech help in my mature years, so I appreciate it.

Re: Square 10
What brand headers are you using?

Re: Square 10
Check the first photos, first page, they are Schoenfield's forward exit. I like the idea because it cures all the common issues with S-10 headers.

Woody,
You're a very talented and innovative racer. Frank |
Re: Square 10
Frank, thank you. It is correct that I mostly follow my own ideas. I receive great satisfaction from fabricating and turning ideas into reality.

I like the bare bones look, race business look, The wiring is ruffed in and placement of most components decided. All will be nice and clean when completed. Everything is tested and operates correctly. This is basically the look, no dash, no carpet, all business.

Re: Square 10
The square 10 progress has slowed because of moving and building a new shop. More updates soon.
I have some info about the new shop in the garage section. |
