In other photos you will see the master switch mounted through the bed wall and the "on/off" rod comes out through the taillight.
I also want a control level within drivers reach. This shows a test fit cable through the fender down to the switch lever. The final cable will be about 10 feet in length and mount near the shifter. And speaking of shifter, because the truck floor and seating is taller than a car by about 4" we need a shifter mounting platform. This shows a mock up of shifter "extender platforms" that will mount the shifter in just the correct spot. It will also incorporate the master cutoff drivers control lever. Question, do some of you share my "loyalty" to some items. This shifter and air shift solenoid have been with me in five different buildups. I find comfort in having on-board components that are proven winners and proven reliable. |

Tomorrow is paint day. Come on shiny black paint.
And even better news, no more fitting and welding and grinding to install custom items then removing them. After tomorrow the parts go on to stay. We will have some sitting outside on all four tires photos soon. |

You know your getting close when your spraying color.
Well done! |
Re: Woodfin's SS GT/TB construction series
Glenn, yes, the parts no longer have to be taken off after fitting. They can now stay on. We will have a roller in just a few days :)

Check my idea about MSD and fuse panel mounting. [lean passenger seat forward for access] In addition, we installed a bar to mount the switch controller and dial-in controller

It's time for some updates.
For two plus weeks my main attention has been struggling with an upper repository infection. It has taken the wind out of my Super 10 building sails :( The turn around has happened and I am on the upward swing so let's get back to work. *This series of photos shows the newly upholstered factory seat *The MSD and Digital Delay relay mounting |
