Originally a side project of The Grateful Dead and their friends, by the time the ."Powerglide" second album came out ,Jerry had gone back to his own deal, and the New Riders of the Purple Sage had settled in to a permanent lineup .

This R&B song written by Ashford and Simpson was covered by just about everyone in R&R The New Riders did a fair job with it.

Dennis' s bass drum was burning brown like it was about to start smoking..True story...I was right in the orchestra pit,..complimentary
