Neil, your cars were really cool...especially the '61's! Wondering who did your
motors then...was Ritter/Webber around then?

Did you ever run at Savannah...aka South Butler?

I had a good friend with a machine shop that let me pretty much do my own thing. I really liked the hands on approach even if I didn`t go as fast as others...I raced quite often at Butler in the late 60`s.. Back then I had a 50 Olds....Always had fun at that track....Also made a few trips to Spencer Speedway, Esta drags, Fulton, Canandaigua Speedway and Utica Rome.....and even in the dirt at Monroe County fairgrounds

Still talk to my buddy vic Hobbs, next time you see him tell him I asked you to say Hello.
He is bracket racing , out of money of course.
He lives in Whitewater, Calif.

Even bracket racing co$ts money these days--unless you have a bone stock or near bone stock car. Even then the (criminally high, overpriced) price of pump gas that is consumed traveling to and fro the track plus fuel consumed while racing plus track admission, food and drink, will set you back an easy $100 for one day!
