Good to see flood cars going to good use beyond underfactored stockers. Not throwing rocks at those that do, they are all fine racers who are simply taking advantage of what rules they’re given. We admire efforts like Smokey Yunick’s Chevelle, Gapp & Roush “Tijuana Taxi, etc. Unless you’re in the other lane of course.

Look forward to seeing some low seven second passes, can you say “No More Pro Stock”?

I think this is the begining of the end for Pro Stock

Holbrook said to count him in. He's having a new car built.

Holbrook, most probably Barton, Welch and who else? Hopefully Kevin Helms is involved somewhere, a Mr. Jeff car?

Maybe Bill Skillman, Kevin Skinner, and Carl Tasca. Hopefully Frank, there will be many more; this class has the potential to be great. Let's hope the NHRA doesn't screw it up as they have done with the Factory Stock Showdown and, to a lesser degree, Pro Mod.

Exactly. It will be the way Pro Stock used to be before NHRA allowed all composite bodies...OEM steel quarter panels, OEM steel roof panel and that’s about it. The rest will be carbon fiber....and no matter what NHRA says, it won’t be cheap and few, if any “home builders” need to apply....:)
