Re: 1971 Torino 500 2 door hardtop
The pump must be lower than the fuel - remember, electric pumps ONLY "push" fuel, they don't "pull", unlike a mechanical pump.

Re: 1971 Torino 500 2 door hardtop
Mount the fuel pump as close to the fuel tank as possible. Also figure out what class you want to run and you can make the plate where the fuel tank was and make it thicker or thinner to help with the weight of your car. In my Fairlane i had a 1/8 inch steel plate with about 60 pounds of ballast and a full size battery to weigh 3400 LBS.

I purchased a drum of VP Racing Fuels C-10 from Keith Brewer at Injector Experts. I will also be purchasing 5 gallon pails from Klingler as stand by. We will be thrashing on this build trying to make it out to Cavalcade Of Stars at Summit Motorsports Park. That is the goal anyways.

Bolted up my Mike Graham built Autolite 2 barrel Carburetor. I also went from Chrome to Black

Re: 1971 Torino 500 2 door hardtop
I have been following your build very closely. A buddy here at home is very interested in the same build. Just curious what power you made on Holbrook dyno.? Doubt if we can get close to that with our backyard skills:):)

Picked up the car from John Holt Race cars. Just a work of art as far as what John and Ben did. We got it started and ran it a little and Chris Holbrooks little 302 runs and sounds awesome. We have a transmission issue and leak that we have to get fixed as well as other odds and ends as well as carpet and passenger seat We will be ready come April
