This is the very first Plymouth (Volare) Road Runner Pro Stocker I've ever seen! Cool paint. Most likely, it's the only one of its type (watch someone produce a photo of another late-1970s Road Runner Pro Stock :) ).

Speaking of Charlie, I didn't know he had a Pro Stock. I knew of his name because of his low-deck 383 wedge block/Hemi cylinder head conversions but that's it.

Took this pict in 1982 at St. Louis. Any idea who it is? Suspect it was a Pro Stock car. Was there testing; not a major event.

Personally, the 70's were the Best for Pro Stock. Many of the pictures you have posted bring back awesome memories.

Doug Kirk was a legendary IHRA Pro Stock mountain motor racer but I am not certain if that's Alderman's, or Geoffrion's, ex - NHRA Pro Stock car.
