This is the very first Plymouth (Volare) Road Runner Pro Stocker I've ever seen! Cool paint. Most likely, it's the only one of its type (watch someone produce a photo of another late-1970s Road Runner Pro Stock :) ).

Speaking of Charlie, I didn't know he had a Pro Stock. I knew of his name because of his low-deck 383 wedge block/Hemi cylinder head conversions but that's it.

Took this pict in 1982 at St. Louis. Any idea who it is? Suspect it was a Pro Stock car. Was there testing; not a major event.

Personally, the 70's were the Best for Pro Stock. Many of the pictures you have posted bring back awesome memories.

Extra points for naming the crew chief, red rag in his pocket and all. Hint: he also drove a Pro Stock car or two, including Bradford's.

For added trivia enjoyment, check out the driver in Haas' Camaro in message 132. He made some headlines also.

Doug Kirk was a legendary IHRA Pro Stock mountain motor racer but I am not certain if that's Alderman's, or Geoffrion's, ex - NHRA Pro Stock car.
