Al,

I think Chuck Koppien's wagon was a SS/LA (although Ithink he later ran it in SS/MA as a 3-seat '65 which they never made), Ron Roddel's was a SS/MA ('64 250/250), and mine was a SS/NA (283). All of them started life in my little garage.

I still love wagons, but the Oldsmobiles are SOOO much easier to work on, especially in teardown. Does anyone have a good G-body Olds Wagon cheap?

Jerry

Interesting how many cars that Mcink has posted have Lewis Automotive lettering from Lincoln Nebraska on the side of it. Wonder how many small and big blocks Wayne Lewis built over the years for Division 5 Stock and Super Stock racers? Mcink, do you have any more pics of Lewis Automotive lettered cars?

Jerry, you're absolutely correct about that and I should have known, all things considered. I got my 'L-M-N's' all twisted.

But(t) better our words twisted than our turds whisted, right? (grin)

Hope all is well with you and yours...see you at TVD this season. -Al

The all White 65 chevyII wagon #5698 was built and driven by Carroll Warling. The picture was taken around 1978. The car is now owned and driven by Gregg Luneak. Carroll also had a 1974 Lemans wagon that he ran in SS/OA, if someone has a picture of the lemans I would like to see it. Thanks Norm

Re: Thunder Valley

Norm,

Didn't Jerry Stealy have a similar one (Lemans-different year maybe) that was yellow? Does anyone have pictures of that car?

Jerry had a 1972 Lemans wagon and it was yellow. It was also a SS/KA. Norm

The Pontiac wagon in #61 above I believe is the wagon that Jerry Stealy had. In the above picture it was owned/driven by Jerry Huiser.
