Front Suspension and Steering. Everything has been replaced and reworked.... Calvert Racing and Moroso components along with Moog Control arms and other steering parts... This was the hardest part of the build soo far.... as far as time and difficulty especially the Coil Springs.

Brakes have been assembled and for the first time since last summer the front wheels and tires are back on it... I need to get an allignment and next up is carpet and Seats. and waiting for engine and trans... Then wiring and body work... This is the latest pictures of the car took on 10/22/22 saving up to buy carpet currently

Some random Rear end pictures. US Gears and Speedway Motors center section. I am very impressed with the quality of this Speedway Motors case.It was a very good value and the craftsmanship was excellent. Lucas Oil Conventional gear oil. Supporting the people that support Class Racing.

Good morning ,
I'm not a Ford racer , but a Class racer none the less. I would like to suggest that Wiring and Plumbing to be soughed out and installed at this time. When I wired my car, getting around the carpet and seats was kind of a pain in the Keister. I had used a " Painless Wiring Race Car " wiring harness and I found it to be of very good quality and easy to understand instructions ( I'm electrically challenged). Without wrestling with the interion stuff, would have made that job much less of a trauma for me.

I would suggest building the 302 2 barrel.
Not because it's the best combination, but because it's the most economical way to get your feet wet in Class Racing and you can bracket race it all day long.
You will be able to get 400-500 passes on it with no issues.
Then decide after a season or two, what direction to go.
Ford 2 barrel, best guy is Brian Seaburg, #1 at Indy this year with a 302 2 barrel. Don't know if he does them for others.
Good luck with what ever you build .

Glad to see the progress on your project. Looks like you are making very good decisions on parts selection. Your car is like the one I ran back in 1973. YES, I know that was almost 50 years ago. Brings back some great memories and look forward to your results.

Well your using one of the best in Holbrook. Does not sound like it's going to be a normal 302 2V budget project.

Last weekend I painted the headers and getting ready to pull the gas tank and old fuel lines tomorrow and get ready to start on the fuel system... 2 1/2 gallon cell with -6 fuel lines, Holley Blue pump and Holley fuel regulator with Moroso Filters....

I purchased a Holley black pump and Holley regulator. Any tips,tricks suggestions on mounting?
