Well, things did work out. I was fortunate to get by Dave Barcelon. We both had .020 lights, but he broke out by .010 and I was good by .031 on the brakes.

Fletcher red lit to Steve Cozokos. I guess the prospect of a duck in the second round was too much for him. :) Now I have to race Steve. He's a very good driver and he's on a roll right now. I have my work cut out for me, but at least I have a chance.

Interesting pairing for 2nd round. Dad against son. McClanahans.
Which one has the faster car? Dad might be in trouble on the tree. Son has been real sharp lately. Damn, what are the dials going to be? I can't wait.

Man, that was the closest race I've had in a long time! I was thinking about dumping him as it looked like he might go around me, then I thought it might be pretty close and decided to run it out. Glad I chose the latter. Nice race, Steve!

It wasn't quite that close. The MOV was "only" .0014. I was .019 and .008 over and Steve was .026 and .002 over.
