Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Tim, glad you're feeling better and back after it. I would take a long bus ride to a race just to see that car run. Wow, that thing is a Chevy at it's finest.
Thanks for the pics and thanks for building the car too. Tracy |

First trip through the water box is gonna be painfull. At least after the pass is over and you see the dirt on it!! lol That is a very nice build. One of the best looking cars I have seen..

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Back on the Camaro build today. Tim's still a by stander for another few weeks. My brother Tony is finishing up on some motor work. Couldn't do this without him.

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Thanks guys for the compliments on the car! I can't wait until I can start turning wrenches on it again, but for now I have to trust the" GODFATHER" Uncle Tony (my real godfather, get it lol its an Italian thing) for the engine work!!

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Are the Sander rims lighter than say a rim from Weld? If so any idea on the weight of your rims? Thanks Ken

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Sorry I haven't weighed the wheels yet. I will weigh them and let ya know if there is any difference when I get back to working on it.

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Update on the car, had some motor issues, long story short, we are building a brand new motor for the car. Was hoping to be out this year ,but not looking good at this point. At least now I know everything will be brand new in this motor and my own. My uncle had a good block so we are using it along with new pistons, rods, cam, lifters all of it ! So maybe late this year, but its looking like next year. As nice as this car turned out no reason on rushing anything especially the main piece and no reason to throw something in it just to get it out. I'll get some pics as we go on the motor to keep ya updated. Everything is at the machine shop as we speak. My buddy Jim Evans RCE (comp racer) is gonna fix me up with hopefully one bad 396 setup!! We are gonna go to the dyno too, so it should be a cool fun build!

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Lots of people have been asking about how I'm doing and hows the car coming so I just decided to say I'm doing great and the car is pretty much sitting in the garage waiting on the new motor. The new motor should be a very nice piece , Jim is doing one hell of a job on it, in between his racing, they just won the Chicago National event in Comp!!! I have purchased everything brand new and starting from scratch. I hope to be out next year for sure. When the motor starts going together I'll get some pics and hopefully some dyno videos. I got some little things to do to the car so I'll be posting pics here and there soon. I can't wait to get back out and race this car it kills me just to go out in the garage and look at it and wax it lol!
