Dwight,

I see, and in this case it works out the same. In actuality, NHRA would multiply the 11.85 Index times a factor of 1.0517. It's an inverse relationship, but due to the number of decimal points the math is carried to, there can be a difference of a hundredth in the factors.

After racing the Buick, the first time in competition I noticed the car would lose oil pressure during hard braking in the lights, so I had my fabricator modify the factory oil pan for more capacity and better oil control, although its not finished yet here are some preliminary pictures.

Mines mild from what I've seen. But, when 4 different people tell you its not legal its time to go back to the drawing board.
