Re: Header coatings
Unless they are new headers I would save my money and use barbaqu black high heat spray paint.
Had a used pair done and lasted about 1 season. |

Re: Header coatings
Well I think this one is a no brainer.
They are on the way to Nitro Plate. Thanks everyone for the input. Bryan, I can't deal with black headers. Actually they were coated when I bought them new. Starting to get too many bald spots. |
Re: Header coatings
IT Ain't easy being cheap ! ( south )

Re: Header coatings
Bryan,
Nothin wrong with being cheap these days!!! Funny thing is I don't see black paint on your headers!!! I bet we never will!! Nice peice. What alternator is that you are running? Looks like it fits in tight spots. |
Re: Header coatings
The nova had spray bomb headers and lasted 9 years and are still on car with new owner.
The Camaro has Stainless steal headers , but they came with the car. The Alt. is a East Coast mini and it works great. |
Re: Header coatings
Well FWIW I have always had my headers coated locally. Usually less money and they look great everytime. In fact we are taking another set down today to get done as well as some other bits and pieces.
