ASRA "Swing into $pring" 5/19

Many members have stated that they plan on testing Saturday May 19th at Lebanon Valley Dragway.
ASRA Board member Marc Labrecque with the support from LVD manager Wayne Delmonte, has approved a lane or 2 to "mix it up" on Saturday afternoon.

For racers interested, We'll be running a Stock/Superstock "Gamblers Race" Saturday afternoon.
$25.00 per car/driver to play,

100% payback!
Payout: Winner gets 1/2 of what we take in.
Runner-up gets 1/2 of what the winner gets
2 Semi-finalists split 1/2 of what the Runner up gets

Now spend the weekend at Lebanon Valley Dragway with a Stock/Superstock "Gamblers race" on Saturday and the ASRA Points race on Sunday.

We had a couple of people ask if there is a test session on FRIDAY , I called the track and the track is rented, and if you wish to run you should inquire with Tony at 203-581-3084 to see if there is room.

Justin,
Usually around 9:30 for the heavy class, we are near the end of the cycle, after the bikes.
I would guess about 10:30-11 am.

Man I can't remember ever having such a nice forecast for our first race.

Really looking forward to seeing everyone, and having a nice weekend.

Membership is still the same, 350 , it helps us alot if you bring your membership form/waiver with you and have it all filled out. If you need a form , we will have them at our events.

You do not need to be a member to runs ASRA events, you run for the tracks part of the purse if you are not a member, and are not in the points or other programs.

all stock and superstock racers are welcome at our events , join the fun

WHAT A WEEKEND!
In Saturday's Gamblers race it was a cast of Camaro's, When the "Smoke" cleared, it was "The Champ" Joe Santangelo's GT/HA over John Gray in the "Legendary" "L&L A/SA Camaro
AJ Martel was the Semi-Finalist in GT/DA.

Sunday brought out the best of the best, again with "Smokin-Joe" in the finals, in the mean-time Justin (JP) Picillo was on the other side of the lawn "mowing" the tree down all day.
It was "lights" out in the end with Picillo running "dead-on" in the final over Santangelo.
The Semi-Finalists were Todd Bednaz & "Woody" Pagano

Thanks to the Staff at Lebanon Valley Dragway and everyone that made the "trek to the track" this weekend.
We double-it-up again @ LVD June 16th & 17th

Sounds like it was a great weekend with some outstanding racing. Wouldn't expect anything less from the ASRA guys. Congrats to all!

62 cars Sunday, 23 cars in the saturday gamblers race. Great turnout, thanks mother nature, thanks to all that attended, raced, etc The track had plenty of things thrown at them, bracket car off the end of the track, full sun on the track both days,full house, to name a few and they did a good job, thanks to them

Greatest start to our ASRA season ever.
