Race 5 rescheduled to Aug 12th
 

The Sunday July 29th rained out event will be held on Sunday August 12th.

New England has a Night show on Saturday the 11th,

if you wish to arrive at the track Saturday, you may be able to get in with your rig, but expect to pay the show admission. CALL THE TRACK TO CONFIRM YOU CAN GET IN Remember that the parking lot will most likely be full until late that night, so the usual pull up to the gate and sleep probably won't work.

please spread the word on this reschedule date.

Sometimes there is a situation that warrents 1 time trial, let's say there are weather issues coming in and/or so many cars that we have concerns that the eliminator will get finished. Those situations are never known in advance.

When things like this happen your Board of Directors makes its best attempt to look at the big picture and make a decision/change if need be.

I am hoping for good weather and no down time.

Matt,
We try to run the race as soon as possible. Its very hard to schedule rain dates not knowing if or when it is going to rain. This is the first weekend that was avalible. Sorry you can not make it. Gary

A. The track makes the call on rainouts on the morning of the event or when it rains if it does.

B. Forecast for Sunday is not that bad, heck it was suppose to rain here from weds on and it only rained part of friday. 2 weeks ago there was rain in the forecast and we finished our race and had no rain.

C. How about alittle positive thinkin' Billy , you will never win the race if you stay home and play weatherman

Well, the weatherman didn't save me anything. Drove up there to watch it rain. Matt - Looks like you'll get another chance!

I think a lot of people are forgetting about the race last year at the valley. The Weather men said it would be a wash out, and 18? of us ran the race. no rain. Sometimes you never know
