Just looked at the weather in Mohnton Pa , rain today and tommoroww , then 20% chance thur , fri and sat . Sounds like the bristol forecast last weekend

right what a surprise . muddy pits and a weaping racetrack. thats maple grove. maybe everyone will get to sit in a mall parking lot for a few days before they get sent home.

I can't remember the exact year that the top end of the track was under a foot of water. Porta- toilets were floating around like little blue boats. But we were racing the next day. This year the ground is already soaked from rain over the weekend. A couple more inches today and a 60% chance for more rain tomorrow. Doesn't look like they will be parking Sportsman racers early in the moring.

Thur 50% chance of rain showers , Friday clear , Sat 40% and Sun 40% chance of rain .

We on earth can not do anything about the weather, the forecasters seem to error on the side of bad than a chance of good weather. That being said, I would gladly get stuck and have a wet pit spot, to stand in the winners circle . Someone is going to win this event, wish I could be there.

When it comes to most things and especially weather, yes I am a glass half full guy.

HEY DAVE, EVEN IF YOUR GLASS ISN'T HALF FULL, AT MAPLE GROVE, YOU CAN JUST LEAVE IT OUTSIDE AND THE RAIN WILL FILL IT!

(Sorry, I couldn't resist making the joke; it was just there for the taking. Actually, I have spent my fair share of time in the rain there, tracking in the red mud. I wish all of the racers a dry event.)

I swear all of the rain this track gets for it's major events is a result of bad karma because of the way they've treated racers over the years..... This goes all the way back to the George Case days....:rolleyes:
