Kearney has a very nice facility & lots of Motels & great restaurants and a classic car museum just a couple miles away (in the back of Cabela's) Class Racers from Nebraska
Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota, Missouri & beyond come to this event each year!!
the weather will be a little cool this weekend so lots of records may be broken!!

I am planning on being there. I have never been to the track, is there anything I should know to get to the track? Coming from Kansas City.

It looks like this is the last D-5 race for the year, as the open in Wichita is cancelled?

Google maps will get you there with no issues.
If you get a hotel, check the KRP website for hotels that offer racer discounts in town....I think a nice room was only about $55 and it was a newly remodeled hotel.
No showers and no electrical hookups that I recall onsite, but there is a decent restaurant that cooks breakfast, lunch, dinner...
There is usually a VP fuel supplier onsite.

going west on I-80 Exit @ mile marker 279 go north to US Hwy 30, then go west to the track
there is a Kearney Raceway Park sign where you turn in

Hi Mikael,
Carson and I couldn't make it this year either but I think it may be warmer in Sweden than in Kearney this weekend anyway. I'll be looking forward to updates too.
