Wow - I can't believe it - this is the 41st annual "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic " - where have the years gone .I'm not sure how many of these I've missed but it can't be many .This years event should be a thriller - great weather is forcast for the next few days ( yeah, I've said that before but it really does look good for this week ) - many side event going on this week - Hemi Challenge - Class races - record runs and more .

If you are attending and should run into Gary Richard this week let him know how important his sponsoring this race is ----------------------- many thanks to Sony / PCRichard.com for helping put this event on .

Jack,I don't think you have worry about weather this weekend, just got a feelin' It's gonna be "stupid good"!
I know it's to early right now, if you can just before racing starts can you post weather numbers ?
I have a friend there this weekend that wants to set a record.

You've got that right, would expect Westcott to show up given the great weather and the AH record will probably take a beating....unbelievable cars.

I just saw a GT/L and GT/M car both go 1.60 under. Are they in the right classes or am I just in for a world of pain on Saturday morning? :o

Good morning everyone, its a cool 55 with bright sunshine. It does feel comfortable because of the sun.. Here are the weather numbers for this morning.

Bobby, I think they have some racers in the wrong class, I know in my case they do.

I have not seen Hawk out for a while, it was nice to see the Shelby out again. As you can see the tech line was long, looks to be a good turnout for the week.

After watching live timing for a little while it looks like tipping over the 1.20 mark is going to be a tightrope for several...and people sweating bullets across the country.

Ronzello went 1.550 under in CC/SA! Was it a 428 or 5.0L 2.9L car? Guessing the latter (9.050 at 148.72!).

There are a LOT of cars/racers listed in classes I'm fairly certain are inaccurate. Barton ran 9.45, listed in A/SA (-1.550 under). They should be corrected later this weekend (for AHFS sake, some racers certainly hope so--LOL)

Third round of qualifying shows him as AA/S. "A captive sigh of relief has come over the CC/SA guys."

I was wondering why Ronzello would have gone that far under! Car is still fast. Went almost 151 in Q3!


Not seeing anything on www.dragracecentral.com. Paid my $1 to try out www.1320go.com. For us fans, pretty cool website. Wish it showed the car / combo type not just the driver / class.

Sorry I have been mia. I'm driving a new car this weekend and trying to get it figured out. I'm running the new class FS/SC. Looks like the Showdown should be fun. I am thinking a 1.20 under will be what it takes to win.

There just about done with clean ups and as the sun goes down it is starting to cool off. It is supposed to be in the upper 30's tonight. The track has been super all day, even with the cool temps.

No point in getting a qualifying sheet, allot of cars are listed in the wrong class. Tomorrow they should have everyone straighten out.

Roberts had to go faster then a 10.97 to get the g record. John hladky set it three weeks ago with a 10.96. Was the 10.97 the back up run maybe?

Time Trials will be in Sessions. 1 Run per Session! 2 Runs.
Time Trials – 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Run Order – Stk, SST, SC, SS, SG
SS & Stk Record Runs - First Two Sessions ONLY!
Stock Class Eliminations – Begin with 2nd Time Trial Session
American Muscle Eliminations – Follow Stock Class
MXI/Magnaflux/Select Performance Top Dragster Qualifying – 4:00 p.m.
MXI/Magnaflux/Select Performance Top Sportsman Qualifying – 4:30 p.m.
Comp Qualifying – 2:00 p.m. & 5 p.m.

Good morning - Brrrrrrrrrr - sure is chilly here this morning - furnace worked overtime last evening - can't tell you if its fast out but it sure is pretty with the Sun coming up this AM .Sometime between last Sunday and this morning my weather station got legs -- hmmmmm.

Almost forgot - so far we have eight "American Muscle" cars - it shaping up to be a great little race this afternoon ........And how about the driver of a '13 Mustang - Johnny Lightning -how cool of a name is that ? I'll get you a pic ............

Johnny Lighting is pretty well known in the NMRA and NMCA for his exploits with his Lightning trucks. He just picked up that mustang recently and I hope he does well. He is a good guy, you folks will enjoy him.

The weather for this morning and present has not changed much, its a little slower then yesterday morning but only by 1 or 2 hundreds.

These are the numbers for today and most likely will not change much.

DA 700ft
Wind tail 3-4mph

They are running stock class as I type and then the Factory Showdown . The car to beat will be Joe Garbarine's 2011 V 10 Challenger, he ran a 9.01@ 149.... WOW !
