Barry,

Usually can't go wrong with a Biondo T/S. I've had one on my car for many of years and they are very helpful in support in case you have questions. You also have Bob Phillips over at ACD who sells a very good product. Both Biondo and Phillips are .90 Racers so they understand the logics of that type of racing.

If you have any questions about MASGA, you can alsways e-mail me at Rekeister@aol.com.

Re: Throttle stop?

Gary Stinnett has a new one out that looks to be about the best I have seen. I think he does a little super class racing(LOL) If I were going to buy one I think It would be his. It's not cheap but it is good.:)

Re: Throttle stop?

I may be mistaken ,but I thought Stinnett designed the one Sunset machines.

#1 Stop products makes a great piece for the price.
I think the under carb stops work better; as I never had much luck with the inline stop. But, your mileage may vary....

Re: Throttle stop?

I have a #1 Stop, but we back to back tested a Sunset stop and it was worth some MPH.
Enough to make it worth buying one.

Re: Throttle stop?

How much mph Tom ? I've thought of getting a stop from Sunset but didn't know if it was worth it .

Re: Throttle stop?

I thought Sunset stopped selling theirs. Stinnett designed one that has larger openings and makes some HP. Could be wrong but that is what I heard from Stinnett.

Re: Throttle stop?

Thanks Guys, Looks like I will be going with Bob with ACD as I have purchased products from him and was always helpful.

As far as shifting on time on the stop at what time do you shift?? I am thinking I should be on the stop for 3 seconds or so..

Re: Throttle stop?

Billy, #1Stop has an ad for it in the last Nat Dragster,in Joanies race shop pages....It's not on their website.
$750 I think. I tried calling them this week ,but kept getting a busy signal, so I'll wait to order one after the New Year.

Shifting on time depends on a lot of factors, launch rpm ,how hard the car hits , how soon you go on the stop , cruise rpm, ect.
Best to start .5 sec after you go on the stop, and experiment going up or down from there.
