Scott, with all the rain we've had this year, at this point i'm ok with having a double race at Fayetteville if the others are ok with it. Anyway thanks for the kind words and keep your eyes open for a 57 front end.

Yes Joe. I may have found a good set of inner and outer fenders. I'll know tomorrow, but if you know of a complete front end reasonable let me know. I'll be at Dinwiddi with the pure stocker. Thanks in advance.

Should be great weather for racing this weekend. We'll be bringing 3. Talked to several division 1 racers who are planning to come this weekend, should have a great turn-out. Scott I was wondering if I can test during time runs with my new car run my green car to race in..

Congratulations to Brandon Peterson for winning the Virginia Speed Race Cars & Transmission sponsored race at VMP and to Joe Huestis for taking the runner-up spot.

We had 41 cars with 37 making the first round call.

The 37 car payout was $1697.50 to the winner, $727.50 to the runner up, $150.00 semi's and $100.00 qtrs.

Thanks to all the racers who attended. It was great seeing new faces as well as our members!!!

We didn't run a second chance race due to track temps dropping quickly after the sun went down.

Thanks to Allen Carpenter, track manager @ VMP for providing us with a great facility and great track prep even with the low track temps and the number of oil downs,
