Napierville

I went to their website, but I don't see anything about the Stock/Super Stock Challenge? Does anyone know the schedule?

Thanks,

Greg

Greg,

Looks like their website schedule doesn't go past Sept 1st. Did you get the letter that Napierville sent out? It states the race will be on Saturday the 13th of September.

There is a bunch of entry fee and purse info in the letter

If anyone would like a copy of Napierville's letter faxed to them ,let me know or post a fax # here.

Re: Napierville

hello everyone,
yes this race is on Saturday September 13 so the rain date is Sunday!
if you raced at the Napierville Open this race is free for you !!!
it is sponsored by the Gaffney brothers as a rain date from the Open!
so $3000 to win BUT if you pay another $70 it's $5000 to win !!!
this was relayed to me by Ronald Burnet

Jeff - Go to their website. They have posted the schedule for the weekend. There is Friday test and tune until 11pm and it looks like it's free for Stk/SS.

A few early comers today (Friday)- Marc LeBrecque, Mark Markow, Greg Gay, Jeff Coyne, Tom Boucher, Jim Harris, Danny Lynch, Eric Merryfield, Tim Stickles, and myself. Track was extremely fast but traction was iffy. Those that ventured out were rewarded with some quick times.

Well the rains came and race was called for the day, a few made it down the track for some clean test runs. Race will be tommorow at 1pm. It will be fast! I spent the time freeing my passport from the console of the coach, fell in deep yesterday at the border, Couldn't get it from the top last night, magnetic lighted pickup and some dissasembly near the throttle petal yielded the beast with a mere scuffmark. So I wouldn't have to tell customs, the motorhome ate it!

Re: Napierville

Thank you Mike, Richie, and George. It would have been great to be able to use this racer as the "kicker", but hey, I have 5000 reasons not to complain!

Other attendees included Jim Harrison (Dave Casey's old Chevy II), the GT/BA Camaro from Canadian Niagara Falls area (we raced, but sorry, I don't remember your name), and Jeff Coyne. I think that brings us to 27 names, so only one person is being left out.

Greg

BTW, ran my quickest time by .19 and fastest speed by 2 mph. Gotta love 53 degrees, 73% humidity and 30.35 barometer!
