Pacific Combo June 20th call out
 

Are next combo race is June 20th this Saturday, there is not a race at Bremerton this weekend or any other conflicting race. For those who are itching to race that don’t want to go all the way to Montana for a race here it is. So hopefully guys like Dave Barcelon, Gary Howe, Pete O. Brian Thompson will be here, Brian has 2 cars so will there be somebody driving his other car? Burton is now married he should be there, if Scott is in town we should be able to find him something to drive? Mark Faul has a pocket full of money from Walla Walla he should be there? Have not seen Rick Green yet this year and I heard Terry Malm has been testing. Will Jody give the super/stock keys to Martha again? What about guys east of the mountains that have been with us before Will Kelly, Jimmy Devine, Todd Gale, Cal Method hopefully some of these can make it. How about Chris Barnes in the wagon of steel. Could we find a ride for Toby? Plus all the other normal cast of characters me, Bushmaker, Storms, Terry Johnson Alan Falcone. How about the Canadians that come down Jung, Mc Kinney they always seem to take some money home. Is Dale car ready yet? I have missed allot of guys so spread the word about this race hope to get 32 cars.

I would love to see at least 32 cars Saturday. A 32 car field could be a lot of fun. The weather should be good. I was at Pacific last weekend and talked with Brad and he can't make it due to prior commitments. I did talk with some guys from up north (BC Super Shifter guys) and they said that Jim Isherwood was planning to make the trip. Talked with Pete Kost today and he has prior plans, but I think you already knew that. Yes, Mark should be able to come and race, plus I haven't seen him in a long time.

I hope we have a great turnout and a lot of fun all around. James, some time during the day I need about 10 minutes with you, if possible.


I just checked the results from Pacific and Pat Brooks was there on Sunday and had the Chevelle (I assume it was the Stocker) running well, I was there on Saturday. Hopefully he can come out to the Combo and do well, very cool car.

I probably won't be able to make it. With Mission and Walla Walla the last two weekends, the "honey do" list is awfully long! We'll see though...

Not yet James, got the suspension ironed out last weekend, but now the gear box is out for a clutch upgrade hoping to hit the last one! and Greens engine is sitting on my engine stand.

Shoot! All this rac'in and I'll be in an aluminum tube at 30,000 ft with a bunch of strangers. At least I'll grab top speed from Falcone.

Rick, you live close. Spectator fee is only $10, come out for awhile and have fun. Been awhile since I have seen you. This goes for anyone else that can't race for whatever reason. Come out and watch and hang out. Weather should be good so come on down.

The weather is looking good for this race. Who is killer1? Rick I have spare motors if you need some thing for woodburn coming up, sorry Terry no clutch or stick parts. Dale have a good trip, we are always just the internet away for updates. Any body from Oregon coming up? See you all Saturday

What are the dates on the remaining races? I'm working on the car this weekend so won't be back together in time for this one but wouldn't mind coming up in the future if I can plan ahead.

Just checked out Drag Race Central, Inc. and Scott Burton is racing in both
Stock & Super Stock this weekend at Bandimere Raceway in Morrison CO.

I finally get to go spectate tomorrow..

Hi Jim, sorry you can't make this one. It was good to meet you and have you a part of the May 9th event. The next events are July 11th, July 25th and Aug 15th. Hope you can make at least one of these.

Well yesterday was a good one. There were 19 entries, the most this year so far. Racing was great and I think everyone had a good time. Some new faces and our first repeat winner was Kelly Thomas with his Dodge Pickup. I think James Boyce is going to post a qualifying sheet. I am not sure how to do it, computer stupid, I guess.


Side note - Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there.

Ok here is what went down last night Kelly Thomas with the W and Brian Webber with the RU and Bill Edgeworth semi. Best package of the night was Terry Johnson's .009. Steve Teeter was the winner of best package for a first round lost so Steve a have $20 for you the next race. Some of the guys were doing double duty last night also racing in pro and sportsman bracket racing and went lots rounds Brian Thompson, Brian Seaberg, Chris Barnes, Steve Schwab, Dave Jung.
