Input Wanted for Fayetteville Race.
 

Spoke with Fonz today and he said its completely up to us if we want to run 1/8 mile or quarter mile for the Oct. 31 & Nov. 1 race. We could even run one day quarter and one day 1/8. So lets put it to a VOTE. POST YOUR DECISION ON THIS SITE.( A. For all 1/8 mile) ( B. for all 1/4 mile) ( C. For one 1/8 and one 1/4). I'm going to post this on Facebook as well, but the ONLY VOTES THAT WILL COUNT ARE THE VOTES POSTED ON THIS PAGE FOR ALL TO SEE. Weather permitting we should have the largest car count of the year.

Hey...it's our "issue"...but our motor right around 300 or so runs at present...a lil' tired...just trying to wobble way to 2015 season end...so we vote A...but...will readily go along with what ya' all want... a few "laps" either way a-ok...) Drake

I say A...1/8th mile as engines are tired and for me it's hard to stop in time at 8.60's-8.70's at 3700lbs. !!!

Looking at the points. The top 20 in the points all run 1/4 all the time.:):)
But what s best for the CCRA and draw the most cars.

Sterling what top 20 you looking at. There are some on that list that havnt made a 1/4 mile pass all year and if you take away VMP probably half that list havnt.
I'm not gonna lie I like to do both but prefer 1/8th . In fact if its cold next weekend my slow ride may have an advantage in the 1/4 😁 so whatever is fine with me.

The decision will be final tomorrow which is Monday. The Longhany bunch votes C. Hope the weather is like this weekend for some good times and great racing. .

Probably doesn't matter w/ the way my season is going because I can't seem to make it down the 1/4 or the 1/8 but I think A is the safer way to go due to cool temps this time of year. We ran into this a few years ago and it seemed to keep more drivers away than it brought in by running the 1/4, plus we had the SS/CM car of Barry Dunn have an accident just past the 1/4 finish line. That could happen at the 1/8 too, so whatever the majority decides I will be there!
