Well after a long cold winter race #1 has finally drawn near ! Saturday May 13th New England Dragway Epping NH . Let's get together for a big turnout. Great friends ,racers and oh ya a great payout. This will be a one day race. All welcome members and non members . NHRA or IHRA , Stock and Superstock welcome..

Cloudy and cool , 34 cars for the first time trial , 12:45 and we are going up for 2nd tt

Austin Weidhaas #1 qualifier , (by reaction time) , 2 heads up runs 1st round , Billy Harper and Brad Rose in f/sa and Dan Lynch vs Pete Mercieri in h/sa, 2pm and 1st rd is coming up

Down to 5 cars , Boucher vs Bruneau. Gray vs Gregg Sutherland , Steve Rehm has the bye ,,,the weather has been mostly cloudy and cool , the sun has been out a few times , 60 degrees

The 1st rd heads up races were won by Harper and Lynch.

Bruneau goes on the dial and Tom Boucher is .02 under , Bruneau has the semi bye , Gregg Sutherland runs .01 over to beat John Gray. Sutherland will face Rehm in the semis

Rehm goes red in the semis , it will be Bruneau vs Sutherland in the final

Final was Gregg Sutherland over Bob Brunneu. Awsome job by both to start the ASRA season. A big Congratulations to Gregg who's won the the last 2 ASRA races at Epping ! The weather gods looked after us today . Hope to see you all at Lebanon valley next month.

Congrats to Gregg , nice job. Misc notes,,,there was some breakage , Marc LaBrecque had an electrical problem 1st rd. Jeff Coyne broke something in the driveline , I broke a ring and pinion , Pat Aubin did not make 1st rd and was rumored to have broke something. Both Gregg Sutherland and John gray had to change trans after the 1st tt and both did well in elims, with Gregg winning. Nice job guys. 6

A quick correction. Brian Fink was #1 qualifier with a .002 and raced Austin in the first round
