Live from Arizona S/SS 2019 season opener

We have the first two races of our 6 race series this weekend at Tucson Dragway presented by United Engine and Machine. Saturday’s race sponsor is Tucson Asphalt and Sunday’s race sponsor is Bill Nelson’s Automotive. We are also having our 2018 banquet at the conclusion of Saturday’s event.

Payouts start with a second round win and we have best losing package prizes for the first three rounds. I’m not sure how much time I will have to post throughout the day trying to race and run the event, but I’ll try to get the ladder and an end of the day update each day.

Congrats to Ryan taking out the defending Champ (Al Corda) in the first round, last years runner up (Andy Kimball) in the second round, and going on to win the race! Rollin! Great job! Just wishing I was there, looked like nice weather...

We are looking at options for a reschedule. We hadn’t started any racing so it will definitely be open for new entries

Congrats to Ryan on his win!

Hopefully this works to post the round by round results.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to the race and our 2018 banquet. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 26th at Wild Horse Pass. Gates open at 8am. Racing starts at 10. It’s a great chance to get some testing in prior to Pomona and the Phoenix National event.

Thank you.

I would like to thank the sponsors and especially the Hawk Brothers for putting this together. They are doing a great job with this Association. UEM Pistons has been our primary sponsor and I really enjoy having them with us at the events.

If you are close enough, come on out! There are some really good people to race and hang out with.

Having some issues resizing the photos off our phones, we will get some put on here when we get it figured out.

We're really bad at taking action shots throughout the day, so if anyone else might have taken a few go ahead and post them!! thanks!
