Have three competition numbers, would be great if they moved the expiration dates out on those as well.

They did grant some exception for chassis certain etc. could be a possibility. Seatbelts too.

I just renewed mine, I wish they would get with the times and make it so you can do it online instead of snail mail.

Why? The membership money pays the organization and Dragster. The competition numbers are cheap enough to not worry.

FYI there’s a big jump in price for a Level 4 license, otherwise you’re probably right but if we don’t get to race for many months it would be a nice gesture on NHRA’s part. Digital ND for everyone, member or not, sure isn’t much of a perk.

Thing about a license is that you need it to go down the track. So, if you got one run in, that required that license, within a twelve month period, you got what you paid for.

Depends a lot on where you live. I haven't missed out on any racing yet.

We have a 5 month season every year, and don't get a discount on licenses compared to the southerners.

Now that NHRA has moved National Dragster to online only does anyone think we will ever see it in Print again?
Just wondering since I have a whole lot of time on my hands these days.

You’re required to have auto insurance to register a vehicle. If unable to drive due to “stay at home” restrictions it would be a nice gesture for the insurance companies to refund part of your premiums. Oh yea, some of them are.

They extended seat belts? I tried to call Impact to have mine rewebbed and they are making masks right now. Summit and Jegs are out of belts too.

Here in Aust , ANDRA has put a freeze on licence expiry. Will not lose against track lock down time . BUT they have a far smaller office footprint than NHRA . I have not seen the local IHRA do this , though I may have missed it . I like many have to have 2 lic and 2 techs to suit both sanctioning organisations . So it gets a little pricy especially as IHRA lic $ does not stay in Australia , it is paid in US$ to IHRA in America . Oh yeah looking after the local racers and keeping costs down :rolleyes:

Funny you say this, I got an email from my auto insurance company (Hanover) saying they were refunding 15% of my April and May premiums.

I’ve been with State Farm for many years (I know there’s cheaper coverage available but I’ve had great experiences with them) and they’re giving a 25% credit from March 20-May 31st. It varies a bit by state but again, great gesture.

Just something to think about. The only game in town is NHRA. What if they did not survive this China virus. It’s possible. They have no money coming in and the worse part is who knows how much longer before racing starts again. Points meets; National Opens and National events. I sincerely hope NHRA comes through this mess with flying colors and racing gets underway sooner than later. My membership is paid up, but if my membership was due, I’d pay it in a heart beat to keep NHRA in business.
