Live from Maple Grove
 

Well even though we're in the same place it's time to focus on the Divisional race. As I've said we're in Maple Grove PA which has a reputation for rain at least some time during the race. Well its already fulfilled that obligation raining a couple times yesterday evening and night but it looks like there's more to come this weekend. I'm sure Div 1 will be able to get the race completed sometime this weekend but it looks like it going to be a wet one. Today there's a T&T and we start time runs and qualifying Friday so stay tuned.

Good Luck Robbie! I always liked racing there. Was stationed near Philly in the mid 80's so I got over there a lot. The drive to the track is beautiful. I don't think I ever won a round of racing though, LOL!

Robbie, looks like the rain that messed us up in Houston last weekend has moved up there. What a mess!

Well this morning is starting out overcast and a cool 58. Watching the weather forecast this morning it sounds like the rain will be coming in this evening. Maybe we'll be able to get a couple rounds of time runs and qualifying in before it gets here. It looks like we start at 8:30 with Stk, S/ST SC, SG, TD, Comp, & TS scheduled for 2 time runs and TOP ELIMINATOR race. I would think that may change. Marty the Shady Maple is a must see at least once I've never seen a restaurant that big. The train ride sounds cool thanks for sharing. Thanks Ray MG hasn't changed much, its still a nice track. 1matcoman you could of sent it (the rain) some where else. hehehe

And then the rains came. Rained about an hour ago enough to stop us. It wasn't the big one and they are drying the track.

Well after calling cars back to the lanes they get comps run done and some of TS before a car hits the wall with a fire. I'm not sure who but the good news is the driver was out of the car and OK. Now its spiting rain and they just call the rest of today off. (Good call). We start again (weather permitting) tomorrow morning at 8:30.

As you know it's raining this morning. My radar shows us coming out of it later today but I'm not sure I believe it. So we'll sit tight and try and stay warm. More to come later.

Well the rain has claimed another's day. We get started tomorrow at 9am with Jrs they'll get 1 time run everyone else goes right in to eliminations

Marty sorry the weather ruined your Maple Grove race I know how far you are from home safe travels. I hope you had a chance to check out some more of the area. Don't worry about Keith he's use to it . hehehe We get started today at 9am hope it all goes well.

We are back in Florida- went they Maryland more this time. I heard the race got postponed, wonder if I can get my vacation days back? I can say I have at least gone down the maple grove track one time . Maybe see you guys in Virginia
