Dan Walcott
 

It is with great sorrow that I let you all know Dan Walcott passed away this morning after battling cancer. His devoted girlfriend Edna was there with him every step of the way to care for him & ease his pain.
Dan was a man who loved drag racing and his family & friends. Many times we’d share stories and talk about all things racing. Even after he could no longer be at the track he was always on this forum and watching races on his computer. Dan was always there to root me on and offer support, especially after Elaine passed away and I know she was there to greet him with a big hug. He is welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven by his lovely wife, Annie and all his family and friends that have gone before him. He was a genuine friend and truly a CLASS RACER. You are & forever will be my friend, Dan. May you rest in perfect peace. May God bless.

Another of our Classracer family gone from us. May God comfort his family and many friends at this time of sorrow. Godspeed Dan.

We have lost another friend, let's all get out there and have fun before it is us they are writing about.

VISITATION: Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023 from 3 - 7 p.m. at Gaylord Community Funeral Home, Gaylord, MI.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Gaylord, MI with visitation beginning 10 a.m.
