The paint is the hold up now it either rains, or the painter gets busy

There was another guy around Covina with the last name of Henderson that ran a S/S Chevy II.

Re: U/SA Build 1978 Ford Futura 302

When I was posted to Germany (4CER) Combat Engineer Regiment, I took my girlfriend skiing in Switzerland. Of course, since she came over from Canada, we went to the cassern (PX for yanks, lol) and fully outfitted us. We went to the slopes and looked a million bucks and were pretty proud of our skiing capabilities. Then some snot nosed 6 year old flew past us in t-shirt and jeans and beat up ski equipment. It was at that point I realized it's not the equipment, it's the abilities or experience of the user......

I have used a paint booth and still turned out crap, not half as good as that! LOL!!! Can't believe how good that looks painted in a tent!!

Your experience is showing, lol, beautiful job!!

Can't wait to see it back together!

Re: U/SA Build 1978 Ford Futura 302

That's what drives me crazy about ford (I've run them all my life) Had two 81 f-100's at one time, according to the vin they came off the same assembly plant a couple thousand apart. Both 300 manuals, one a 3 on the tree and the other a bull low 4spd (np235).
Swapping engines found p/s and alternator in different spots and something else I don't remember now. ford is always like this "was it built BEFORE this date or after"...grrr!
