Paula and I are saddened to relay that long time division 4 racer and good friend Ed Wright passed away yesterday.

Very sad to hear, he was a steady and helpful voice on the forum for many years. Recall him retiring from racing to attend to his ailing wife. Condolences to his family and friends.

Ed helped me out with tuning advice when I was just starting with the F I stuff. He really had a passion for racing and solving problems. I really appreciated his sportsmanship.

Sorry to hear the news. His posts reflected the clearest understanding of F.I. tune that I have ever read. You could just tell. Condolences to his friends and family.

Talked to Ed quite a bit on tuning. He was into programming before many of us other guys. Ran into him over at Indy during the US Nationals a few years back. His personally from here on the web matched his real life one. Polite, knowledgeable and a dedicated sportsman until his health and family's took a front seat to his love of anything motorsports. RIP old bud.

Very sad news. I always enjoyed Ed’s posts. He was a good racer and better husband.
