Crate motors
 

I am contemplating the purchase of a decent BB for SST/SG. Anyone with hands-on experience with the major outfits. Any info or advise would be appreciated.

I have quit a few friends and customers who use engines from Shafiroff Racing .
Very few if any complaints ,and a few have been very successful with them .
As far as my own personal experience ,I have bought components from them for years and they always treated me right .
I also borrowed a Shafiroff 565 from a friend when I broke an engine and had no spare ready . ....Deadly consistent on the .90 index .
That particular engine won races and championships in at least 3 different cars !

they do offer plenty of hp for the dollar....
