Mark,
As long as your lobes still have taper left on them and lifters are crowned .001-.0015 should be fine.I have been using precision performance products from NC.also heard good about Trend products, I have a set of Johnson haven't tried yet, that are high carbide content on bottoms, they are solids i will have to modify to have.015 travel

Mike, I have several sets of PPPC coated bottom solids that I've used as modified travel lifters. I even have some that are just the lifter bodies. They are the shorter, extra lites. With a little band modification they will work in Pontiac's, too. Since I'm winding down the business I'll make a deal on them.
I like the quality I've always gotten with all PPPC products. 1 800 421 9150
A few years ago I got one of their large Degree wheels... wow, talk about nice. Not a cheap silk screened wheel that can run "Off" on the degrees as you rotate it... It checks right with my digital Cam Pro Plus. Degree for Degree.

I use to use 16'' comp cams wheel thought it was nice, then got a CV products24'' wheel really like it, use the comp cams degree wheel sockets, which some need to be replaced,my sbc has play in it have to split the difference. How big is PPPC's wheel?

Part # Description
18000 16" Aluminum Degree Wheel
16" Degree wheel is machined from 1/4" Aluminum. Degree marks are machined
approximately 1/8" apart so they’re easy to read. Heavy design allows the builder
to rotate the engine while “degreeing” the cam. Comes with 7/16", 1/2" and 5/8"
bushings.

StarMark by BAASEL Laser Tech is our latest addition of
services available to all of our customers. The StarMark
Diode is a marker beam source with diode pumped
YAG (DPY) lasers—particularly suitable for permanent
marking of plastics, metals, and high-tech materials. Ideal
for integration in production.

Mike, YAG is the same kind of Laser they use in some eye surgeries. I guess if it is good enough for your eyes it is good enough for a Degree wheel..LOL! There are wide tolerances with the Silk Screen type others use.
You can't keep the silk screen accurate.
