Schedule Update and Changes
 

Due to construction delays as most of you all are aware of at Galot the CCRA has had to make changes for 2015 schedule. New schedule is as follows..

June 13th (Roxboro Dragway). New Racing Surface
August 29th (Piedmont Dragway) Night Race.
Oct 3 & 4th (Virginia Motorsports Park) Double Quarter Mile
Oct. 18th (Piedmont Dragway)

We would like to thank Marc Kinton who is the general manger at Roxboro Dragway for his interest in having the CCRA race at Roxboro this year. We are still working to fill the 2 remaining races either before its crazy hot or in mid fall. Thanks everyone for your patience and support in the upcoming events....

I would like to attend the VMP double race in Oct, What is the entry fee, schedule, can I park Friday night?

Hey Richard, I guess no one seen your message. I can tell you that last year they let us park Friday evening and they were running a test and tune. I can't tell you what the entry fee is I haven't run a race this year and my memory doesn't go back as far as last year. Check back in a couple days, I'm sure Jeff or Tracy will reply when they see it. These races are a lot of fun and well run too. Good payouts too!

Hey Richard, sorry for the oversight here...of course you are welcomed to race w/ us!!! Usually Allen opens the gates on Friday night, I think he has a test n tune also. Entry fee is $75 car and driver for each race. Not sure about specatators gate fee. We had our biggest field of the season last year at this race w/ 51 cars I think it was so come on out and join us.

No doubt a great place to race unfortunately that happens to be my anniversary and I'm afraid I won't be able to pull it off.

Just wanted to give a brief update. Our next race is August 29th at Piedmont Dragway. Tracy and myself are working to fill the final races. A complete remaining schedule will be posted the week of the Piedmont race. I know it's been quiet for awhile but we wanted to stay to our initial plan in beating the heat and racing early and late in the season to have more enjoyable weather to race in. Hope too see everyone in three weeks at Piedmont which should be a great turnout.
