Spring Pressures

New cam going into our 454/365/355 this week, and I'm wondering if we have enough spring pressure. Springs are testing the same as when I put them in, only about 50 passes on it but the cam was used and outdated when we built the engine. It's a .460/.480 lift with current springs setup to be 200# on the seat, 390/400# over the nose. I've recently heard of setting springs up so they are within .050 of coil bind over the nose which would net me around 460-470#. Also it is getting solid lifters. Does any of this seem to be in the ball park or should we be going for more?

If you have tool steel or smith lifters 200 should be good.
