Help no Revese
Was going to go to Thunder Valley today, started the stocker up and it would not backup. It has a 200 with auto shift, everything worked when we parked it. Had it out on the hyway for a down and back a few months ago all was fine. 402 329 6795 402 750 0882 Tom

Re: Help no Revese
Tom;
I know next nothing about the GM200 but my guess is a stuck valve. Try draining and replacing the ATF and filter with fresh. When you remove the pan and filter, if you see lots of metal and debris just take it out and see what broke. Chuck |
Re: Help no Revese
Typos aside, how many "back ups" on the unit? Did it ever slip when backing up, especially uphill? How many frictions in the low/rev?
One possibility that's easy ..All the rest, out she comes. |
Re: Help no Reverse
Pulled the pan had some stuff on the magnet so we just pulled it. Now who does a good job on 200s in the midwest? We know nothing about this trans or converter so i guess it time to find out. Tom

Re: Help no Revese
Tim Wudarzyck, Kansas. Does an excellent job. They run a Stock & Super Stock car. He's up to date on 200's, as good as your going to find.

Re: Help no Revese
Well frustration continues, put are trans back in today have reverse and low but shifts to second and then goes away no third. Has a turbo action auto shift. We ended up manual shifting at Madison with a different trans and powering up solenoids. Will not up shift in burnout or pit mode. Are these valve bodies junk? Who can we talk to to make this thing work. Thanks Tom

Re: Help no Revese
