Delay box question.

I recently bought a hard tail dragster for cheap money and it has an old K&R delay box in it. Being a Stock/SS and Comp Guy I have exactly zero experience with delay boxes. I'm completely redoing the wiring, plumbing, etc. and I'm wondering what delay boxes everyone is using. This car is going to be a fun bracket racer only so I really don't need all the bells and whistles.

Any input is appreciated.

That is a good box. Biondo has basic to bump down, crossover, hit tree twice.

K&R makes great products. That said, my advice is to call Kevin and ask him if he will service this box when it fails, if not buy a new K&R box now while you're rewiring and be done with it.

My car came to me with the old K&R blue box, that was sold by Biondo back in the day.. car was built in '96.. I thought that being old, and me not trusting some results, I switched to a new K&R box.. people are great to deal with, and the box will do just about everything.. I learned that the old box was fine, and it was just me that was old.. K&R, Steve.. can't go wrong..

Keep it. I kept mine when I sold my S/C dragster. New owner turned his nose up at it. He thought brand B was better.
I will use it if I ever go S/G or S/ST racing..
